Oh, what joy I feel in Jesus,
Who died for me upon the cross;
He gave my soul divine light,
Glory to my Jesus!
How much glory I see in Jesus,
Holy joy and blessed light,
Whose rays shine from the cross,
Where Jesus died.
I always want to press onward,
Until I reach heaven.
Now I am free from sin;
He brought me out of the abyss,
And set me upon the eternal Rock;
Glory to my Jesus!
Jesus has given me divine praise,
A harmony that comes from heaven;
I will sing with joy, Christ is mine,
Glory to my Jesus!
This good news I will proclaim;
Many will also come,
And receive His matchless grace,
Glory to my Jesus!
