I have found a glorious flower,

Já achei uma flor gloriosa,

And whoever desires it shall have it too;

E quem deseja a mesma terá;

The precious Rose of Sharon

A rosa de Saron preciosa

Is more beautiful than a thousand others.

Entre mil mais beleza terá;

In the valley of the shadow of death,

No vale de sombra e morte,

On the heights of glory and light,

Nas alturas de glória e luz,

This Rose will be my portion;

Esta rosa será a minha sorte,

Precious to me is Jesus!

To shine in another place.
