O Jesus Christ, here we are gathered,

Ó Jesus Cristo, aqui estamos

United all in one accord,

Unidos todos em um lugar,

To remember well Thy death, dear Savior,

Pra Tua morte nós relembrarmos,

Which Thou didst suffer for us, O Lord.

Que Tu quiseste por nós provar.

Rejoice our hearts, beloved Jesus,

Alegra-nos, é Jesus amado,

By filling us with the Comforter;

Enchendo-nos do Consolador;

Great is the grace Thou hast bestowed,

Ó grande graça Tu nos tens dado,

For by Thy love we have been saved.

Pois somos salvos p'lo Teu amor.

May we all be richly blessed;

Que nós sejamos abençoados;

And may the bread and wine here

Também o pão e o vinho aqui,

By Thy power be consecrated,

P'lo Teu poder sejam consagrados

That we may feed on Thee.

P'ra nos alimentarmos de Ti.

And when together we shall gather

E quando todos nos reunirmos,

One day within Thy home above,

Um dia, lá no Teu lar, nos céus,

We then shall sing our hallelujahs,

Nós aleluias, sim, cantaremos,

An endless hymn unto our God.
