At Pentecost it came to pass

No Pentecostes sucedeu

What Jesus had foretold,

O que Jesus falou,

For suddenly from heaven above

Pois de repente lá do céu

A mighty wind was blown,

Um vento assoprou,

It came and filled the whole house,

Que veio a casa toda encher

And every heart with mighty power.

E os corações com mui poder.

Power, power, Pentecostal power.

Poder, poder, poder pentecostal.

Oh, come and set us all aflame,

Ó vem nos Inflamar,

Also renew us;

Também nos renovar;

Oh, come, yes, come, O holy flame divine,

Ó vem, sim, vem, ó chama divinal,

Baptize Your servants.

Teus servos batizar.

Upon each one there came to rest

Em cada um veio repousar

The precious Light,

A preciosa luz,

The Teacher who had come to dwell

O Preceptor que veio ficar

With Jesus' servants;

Co'os servos de Jesus;

It was the holy fire of the Lord,

Foi o fogo santo do Senhor.

Which filled them with His strength.

Que os encheu com Seu vigor.

And they began to speak,

E começaram a falar, Repletos de poder,

Filled with power,

Em outras línguas exaltar

In other tongues to magnify

Ao que mandou trazer

The One who sent

Os ricos dons do Seu amor

The precious gifts of His great love

E o poder consolador.

And His consoling power.

E quem deseja receber

And whoever desires to receive

Esta água salutar.

This living, healing water,

Que é prometida ao que crer

Which is promised to the one who believes

E humilde esperar,

And humbly waits,

Perseverando em oração,

Persevering in prayer,

Terá poder seu coração.

Shall have power in the heart.
