Peace and joy Jesus has given me,

A paz e gozo Jesus já me deu,

For this He came down into the world;

Ele pra isso ao mundo baixou;

To save me, He shed His blood,

Para salvar-me, Seu sangue verteu,

When for me He died upon the cross.

Quando por mim na cruz expirou.

God's peace in Jesus I have found,

Paz de Deus em Jesus encontrei,

For I have joy within my heart;

Pois tenho gozo no coração;

Honor and glory I will give

Honra e glória tributarei

To Him who brought salvation to me.

Ao que me trouxe a salvação.

A paz e gozo desfruto enfim,

Through Jesus Christ, my Redeemer;

Por Jesus Cristo, o meu Redentor;

Oh, a holy love now dwells in me,

Um amor santo, oh, tenho em mim,

Which I received from the Comforter!

Que alcancei do Consolador!

My heart is filled with peace and joy,

A paz e gozo tem meu coração,

A heavenly life, overflowing with love;

Vida celeste, repleta de amor;

Christ gave me true salvation,

Cristo me deu a real salvação,

And also the gift of the Comforter.

Também o dom do Consolador.
