The Bread of Life, sent down from heaven,

O pão da vida, descido dos céus,

Gives peace and strength within;

Dá paz, saúde e vigor;

The Bread celestial, sent by God,

O pão celeste, mandado por Deus,

Is Christ, the Savior dear;

É Cristo, o Salvador;

Redeemer, come without delay,

O Redentor, vem sem tardar,

The sinner's wounds to heal today!

Do pecador o mal sanar!

If any lost one seeks Thy light,

Se algum perdido buscar Tua luz,

Come quickly, grant him peace;

Depressa vem a paz lhe dar;

Delay no more, O loving Jesus,

There is holy joy for all who walk

Within the light of God,

Em se lembrar do seu Senhor,

Remembering their blessed Lord,

E só falar do amor de Jesus,

O grande Redentor!

Thy yoke is easy, Lord of love,
