Great indeed is Thy power!

Grande é o Teu poder!

Stay with me, my beloved,

Grant me grace and wisdom.

Dá-me a graça e o saber.

To fulfill Thy holy will,

P’ra fazer a Tua vontade,

I desire more of Thy power;

Quero de Ti mais poder;

Grant to me Thy holiness,

Dá-me a Tua santidade,

I would live for Thee alone.

Quero só p’ra Ti viver.

My dear Lord, Thou art my Guide,

Give me strength and life and light;
