What joy I have now, heaven is mine,
For Jesus tore the sacred veil;
I shall no longer fear condemnation,
And I shall always praise my Redeemer.

There in heaven I shall rest
With Jesus, our King;
Come to God, O sinner,
For in heaven He awaits you with love.

Through the world I walked alone,
Outside of Sodom I beheld heaven,
For I looked upward, to my Jesus,
Who for me died upon the bloodstained cross.

I am a soldier, ready to fight,
And with God I shall overcome all evil;
The banner is the blood of Jesus,
Which for me was poured out there on the cross.

When one day I come to perish,
Yes, when my heart ceases to beat,
I shall rise to heaven, without any fear,
Resting in the arms of the Lord.

Before the throne, joyful I shall stand,
And with God I shall overcome all evil;
I shall see the palms of the multitude
Who shall always sing hallelujahs to God.
