I must guard
My immortal soul,
And prepare it
To enter
The heavenly kingdom.
To do this,
My God,
Come and help me;
I want to consecrate
My whole being
To Your service.
I want to be
Your child,
With all my heart,
And forever receive
Your eternal
Protection.
Help me
To remain watchful,
To stand firm
In the faith;
For in You
I can trust,
And in You
I can also rest.
