In Bethlehem
Jesus was born,
Our great Redeemer,
The blessed Light
For a sinful world.
Oh, hallelujah
To Christ Jesus,
The Sent One,
The Son of God!
Joy and light,
Giving life,
Christ brought
From heaven.
With the shepherds,
Let us go
To Bethlehem
To praise Jesus,
And also offer
Our gratitude
To the One
Who came to save us.
In humble worship,
Let us offer
To Jesus
Our thankful hearts,
For they have known
His matchless love.
Jesus came down
From heaven;
Though He was God,
He became man.
He suffered
Our sorrows,
To lead us
To heaven.
Let us give
Glory,
Glory to God
For the gift
Of His love!
Yes, in heaven
We shall praise
Jesus
With even greater joy.
The angels sing:
“Glory to God!”
Holy peace
To all mankind.
His children sing:
“Glory!”
Hail the King,
Who brings us joy!
