Like the people of Abraham,

Como o povo de Abraão

Journeying to the land of Zion

Para a terra de Sião

Through the nations of their enemies,

Entre os povos inimigos viajou;

Today, full of love

Hoje eu cheio de amor,

And faith in the Savior,

E de fé no Salvador,

I gladly walk toward heaven.

Caminhando para o céu, contente vou.

There in heaven, there in heaven,

Lá no céu, lá no céu,

Sorrow I shall never know;

As tristezas eu jamais conhecerei;

Golden streets shine there,

Ruas áureas brilham lá,

In Jehovah's city;

Na cidade de Jeová;

Joyfully I keep marching toward heaven!

Of the blessed Savior,

Do bendito Salvador,

Watching and always praying, I go with confidence;

Vigiando, sempre orando, certo vou;

Guided by the light

Dirigido pela luz

Of the presence of Jesus,

I continue walking toward heaven.

I shall enjoy His glory
