Christ seeks hearts already pure,
That will always proclaim
The forgiveness of the cross,
Showing transgressors
The blessings yet to come,
So they may turn
From sin to the light.
Go and labor
In the fields of the Lord,
For the harvest
Is already white.
Hasten to the work,
Jehovah commands;
Then you shall enjoy
His great love!
Christ needs pure lips
That joyfully speak
Of this salvation;
Tongues filled
With infinite grace,
Proclaiming redemption
To those in bondage.
Christ seeks hands
That are consecrated,
Ready to work
With holy diligence.
The golden harvest fields
Call for your help;
The ripe grain
Will soon fall.
Christ needs holy lives
That show sinners
His power;
Lives firmly grounded
In Jesus
And truly humble,
So that through them
He may accomplish His will.
