When the labor of this life
Comes to an end,
And death stands beside you,
What will be
The destiny of your soul?
What will your home
Be in eternity?
My friend,
Today you have the choice:
Life or death,
Which will you accept?
Tomorrow may be
Too late;
Today Christ
Wants to set you free.
You seek peace
In this world,
In pleasures
That quickly pass away;
But in the final hour of life,
They will no longer
Satisfy you.
Perhaps you laughed,
My friend,
When you heard
About Jesus;
But only Jesus
Can give you salvation
Through His death
Upon the cross.
Your soul is stained,
And you cannot
Behold
The face of God;
Only believers
With clean hearts
Will enjoy
The joy of heaven.
If you decide
To leave your sins
And give your life
To Jesus,
Then in your final hour
You will walk
A shining path
Of light.
