My gracious Savior
Bore my sins;
It was Jesus, the Redeemer,
Who delivered me from death.
Oh, what a Savior I have!
His blood redeemed me,
When upon the rugged cross
He bore my punishment.
Oh, what love my Jesus has,
Who became man
To suffer for me on the cross
And forgive my sins.
There is no other name
Like the precious name of Jesus,
For He delivers me from evil
And leads me to glory.
With Jesus I go rejoicing,
Proclaiming His grace,
Because He has called me
To labor in His vineyard.
