Showers of Grace - 1
God has surely promised
To send showers of grace;
He gives us strength,
And rich blessings beyond compare.
Showers of grace,
Showers we ask of You, Lord;
Send us continual showers,
Showers of the Comforter.
Christ has granted us
The holy Comforter,
Has filled us with perfect peace,
For the reign of love.
Give us, Lord, abundantly,
Your great joy and power;
Place within us
A never-failing fountain of love.
Make Your servants godly,
Give them virtue and strength,
Granting them Your precious gifts
From the holy Teacher.
