Speak, beloved Jesus,
Speak to me today!
Speak with Your kindness,
Stay close beside me;
My heart is open
To hear Your voice.
Fill me with praise
And joy to serve You.
Speak to me gently!
Speak with great love!
You will set me free,
Forever victorious.
Speak to me each day
In Your tender voice;
I long to hear
Your voice forever.
Speak to Your children,
And on the righteous path
Guide them in Your goodness
To seek the holy gift;
They will desire
To consecrate themselves,
To give their lives,
Obeying Christ
And loving Him with all their hearts.
As in former times
You revealed the Law,
Show me Your will,
And to Your holy flock;
Let me glorify You,
I want to praise You,
To sing with joy
And always honor You.
