I was a sinner,

Era um pecador, andava sem Jesus,

Walking without Jesus;

Não tinha esperança, nem divina luz;

I had no hope,

Hoje sou remido, Cristo me salvou,

Nor heavenly light.

Co’o Seu sangue me lavou!

Today I am redeemed,

Christ has saved me;

Que amor me concedeu Jesus,

With His blood

Gozo santo e celeste luz;

He washed me!

Cristo, breve, do céu descerá,

E consigo, então, me levará.

O Consolador já veio em mim morar,

A Palavra santa veio iluminar;

The light

That leads me to Christ.

Come, beloved Jesus,

To enter heaven.

Let the light shine:

“Even so, come,

Lord Jesus!”

Do you want,

Sinner,

To enjoy salvation?

Come to Christ today

To receive forgiveness.

Christ accepts you,
