I firmly trust
That in heaven I shall rest
With Jesus, joyfully, hallelujah!
What heavenly joy
My soul feels in thinking
Of the glory I shall enjoy in heaven!
What eternal glory I shall enjoy in heaven!
With Jesus, who saved me from sin;
Holy peace and joy I shall enjoy in heaven;
Christ purchased eternal glory for me!
In heaven I shall see the Lamb
Who chose to die for me,
Hanging upon the cross, hallelujah!
He also made me an heir
Of that which will never fade,
Of the glory I shall enjoy in heaven!
The holy face of Jesus
I shall behold in heaven,
Where there is no pain nor sorrow, hallelujah!
But there will be a glorious song
That will sound forever
In the glory I shall enjoy in heaven!
When I arrive in heaven
And attain that glory,
With Christ beside me, hallelujah!
Seated upon His throne,
