My soul is united with Christ,
For in Him I have my true sustenance;
He fills me with heavenly joy and peace;
He also teaches me His commandments.
O Bride of Jesus, prepare yourself to go
To the eternal and holy kingdom;
There you will enjoy divine love
With Jesus Christ, your Beloved!
In the holy Church, redeemed by His blood,
His glory is already revealed in me,
Which by His grace was granted to me;
Sheltered in it, I shall have victory.
Thus I desire, united with Christ,
To follow the way to the beautiful city;
For in Him I am well protected from evil,
And surrounded by true goodness.
