O Heavenly Father, in the holy name
Of Your beloved Son, Jesus,
Our grateful song is offered to You,
Which Your flock reverently brings;
O God, preside over Your united people,
With Your grace and with Your power;
Having received the Holy Spirit,
We desire to live here in Him.
Divine Rock, our steadfast strength,
Grant us grace, grant us power;
You are the fortress of Your servants,
Where, sheltered, they have no fear;
Always pour out showers of blessings
In abundance from the highest heavens;
Our soul, like the deer, longs
For You in a great drought, O good God!
Holy flock, sealed by God,
With one mind and one heart,
May this truly be fulfilled,
We eagerly hope to see;
Defend us with Your mighty arm
From the enemy, from the tempter;
Always direct our steps
To the living springs that give strength!
Send, Lord, Your message
Through the divine and sacred anointing,
Like the manna that brought
Comfort to Your people on their journey;
May Your Word, the water of life,
Cause our cup to overflow,
Full of grace, rightly delivered,
To satisfy those who thirst.
