O Lord, we are waiting,
That You may hear our prayer;
We, Your servants, have already cried out
With humble hearts.
Come, pour out Your Spirit
Upon every heart!
And upon the believer who cries to You,
Come, confirm the petition.
Let the fire of the Spirit
Burn within our hearts,
So that everything that is temporary
May never remain.
O Lord, purify me,
Remove the evil that is within me;
Sanctify my soul,
And keep me until the end.
Give us more of Your grace,
And fill us with Your power;
May Your voice
Be heard in Your temple, O God.
Give us the gifts of Your Spirit;
Work miracles, O Lord,
That everything You have spoken
May be fulfilled, my Redeemer.
