Perfect peace and holy joy

Plena paz e santo gozo,

I have in You, O my Jesus!

Tenho em ti, ó meu Jesus!

For I believed in Your death upon the cross;

Pois eu cri em Tua morte sobre a cruz;

Trusting only in the Lord,

No Senhor só confiando

In this world I will live,

Neste mundo viverei,

Singing hallelujahs to my King!

Oh, glory to my Jesus!

Oh! glória ao meu Jesus!

For He is worthy of praise;

Pois é digno de louvor;

He is my King, my Good Shepherd,

É meu Rei, meu bom Pastor,

And my Lord.

E meu Senhor.

Like the angels who praise Him,

Como os anjos, que O louvam,

The love of Jesus Christ

O amor de Jesus Cristo

É mui grande para mim,

For His grace has filled me with endless love.

Pois Sua graça me encheu de amor sem fim.

My Jesus has gone to glory,

Meu Jesus foi para a glória,

But one day I shall see Him,

Mas um dia eu O verei,

This world does not desire

Este mundo não deseja

Such a gracious Savior,

Tão bondoso Salvador,

Nor does it know how to thank Him for His great love.

Não sabendo agradecer Seu grande amor.

But I rejoice

In the favor of His law,

Do favor da Sua lei,

Are reconciled to Jesus,
