The Word of God is for me
A treasure beyond compare.
It speaks of the love of God,
The love that has no end;
This love is more precious
Than gold!
The Word of God is sweeter than honey;
Whoever receives it by faith
Will remain faithful,
For God has given us Emmanuel,
The living Rock
From whom flow milk and honey.
It is the light that guides
Along the path of peace,
And shines upon those
Who walk in darkness.
It is the lamp that reveals
The snares of Satan,
And it shines
Even in the darkness.
It is a lighthouse
That has always shone,
Showing the harbor of salvation.
Whoever has entered the ark
And forgotten the world
Will surely reach
The eternal home.
