Soon the glorious day will come
When all struggles shall be over;
Every sorrow, every anguish
Of this world shall pass away.
In heaven tears will cease forever,
For there shall be no more pain,
And the song will then be heard
From the Lord's redeemed ones.
Oh, what joy to be with Christ,
Listening to His voice!
This is what my heart longs for,
And to follow Him always.
If Jesus Christ is my Guide,
I will walk the narrow Way;
Whoever trusts in God like this
Will surely reach the heavenly home.
