A gentle heart, so kind and true,

Um coração, bondoso sim, custa dor, obter;

Is not obtained with ease;

Ser manso, amoroso e santo em todo o ser;

To live in meekness, love and grace,

Manando nova vida ao coração – dá luz.

In every part of life;

E toda a minha lida será só em Jesus.

New life flows from the heart within,

Its light shines bright and clear;

Quem quer seguir os pessos

And all my daily walk shall be

de nosso pai Abraão,

With Jesus Christ alone.

No coração, os laços, então, se quebrarão;

Isaque é oferecido em cima do altar;

Whoever follows in the steps

Jacó, com gran gemido, Raquel vai enterrar.

Of Abraham, our father,

Will see the chains that bind the heart

Se grande é o sacrifício – Isaque no altar,

Forever broken free;

Se torna em beneficio pra quem o ofertar,

Isaac is offered on the altar,

Pois tem profunda calma e paz celestial,

In full surrender there;

Também de Deus alcança, aprovação real.

And Jacob, filled with bitter grief,

Must bury Rachel too.

Na cova, Jeremias, lamenta grande dor,

Na escuridão não via o bom Consolador;

Though great the sacrifice may seem,

Sim, grandes amarguras se tornam em prazer,

Like Isaac on the altar,

Vêm anjos das alturas “O sonhador” a ver.

It brings a blessing from the Lord

To those who offer all;

Arão foi castigado por sua rebelião,

For deep and holy peace is found,

E, triste, humilhado, aceita exortação;

With calm from heaven above;

Consagra tua vida pra Deus melhor honrar;

And God's approval they receive,

Assim em dor e lida, precisas te guardar.

A rich and precious gift.

Acima nuvens densas o sol sempre a brilhar;

Within the pit stood Jeremiah,

Promessas mais imensas não podem a ti falhar.

In sorrow and distress;

Põe plena confiança em quem não pode errar,

In darkest hours he could not see

Jesus, já sem tardança vem tua dor sarar.

The blessed Comforter;

Yet bitter grief is turned to joy,

As heaven's angels come,

To visit him whom God had called,

The dreamer of His will.

Aaron was chastened by the Lord

Because of his revolt;

In sorrow and humility,

He bowed to God's rebuke;

Consecrate your life to God,

To honor Him the more;

And through your trials faithfully

Preserve yourself in Him.

Above the darkest clouds the sun

Still shines with constant light;

God's greatest promises to you

Will never fail at all;

Place all your trust in Him alone,

Who never can deceive;

For Jesus soon will surely come

To heal your every pain.
