When Jesus comes down from heaven

Quando lá do céu descendo,

To return for His own,

para os Seus, Jesus voltar,

And the trumpet of God proclaims to all

E o clarim de Deus a todos proclamar,

That the great day of my King's triumph has come,

Que chegou o grande dia do triunfar do meu Rei,

By His abundant grace,

Eu, por Sua imensa graça, lá estarei.

hão de a voz de Cristo ouvir,

Will hear the voice of Christ,

E dos seus sepulcros hão de ressurgir,

And rise from their graves,

Os remidos reunidos, logo aclamarão seu Rei,

The redeemed, gathered together,

E, por Sua imensa graça, lá estarei.

Will at once acclaim their King,

And by His abundant grace,

Pelo mundo, rejeitado foi,

I shall be there.

Jesus, meu Salvador.

Desprezaram, insultaram meu Senhor,

Throughout the world, Jesus,

Mas, faustoso, vem o dia

My Savior, was rejected.

They despised and insulted my Lord,

E, por Sua imensa graça, lá estarei.

But the glorious day is coming,

The day of my King's triumph,

Em mim mesmo, nada tenho em que possa confiar,

Mas Jesus morreu na cruz p'ra me salvar;

In myself I have nothing

In which I can trust,

But Jesus died on the cross to save me;

In Him alone I place my hope,

Yes, and always will.

For by His abundant grace,
