Holy Bible, to me

Santa Bíblia, para mim,

You are my treasure indeed;

És o meu tesouro, sim;

You contain the law of God

Tu conténs a lei de Deus

And show me the glorious heavens;

E me mostras lindos céus;

You tell me who I am,

Tu me dizes quem eu sou,

Where I came from, and where I am going!

Donde vim, pra onde vou!

You correct my speech,

Tu repreendes meu falar,

You continually exhort me.

Me exortas sem cessar.

You light my feet,

Alumias os meus pés,

And guide me by faith

E me guias, pela fé,

To the fountains of love

Para as fontes de amor,

Of the blessed Savior!

Do bendito Salvador!

You are the voice of heaven,

És a voz dos altos céus,

The voice of the Spirit of God.

Do Espírito de Deus.

You give strength to my soul

Que vigor pra alma dá,

When it is in affliction;

Quando em aflição está;

You teach me to triumph

Me ensinas triunfar

Over sin and death!

Dentre os mortos, do pecar!

By your holy words I know

Por Tua santa letra sei,

That I shall reign with Christ;
