Under Your banner, O Jesus, Savior!

Sob Teu pendão, ó Jesus, Salvador!

Always faithful, brothers! Brothers, let us be.

Sempre fiéis, irmãos! Irmãos sejamos.

Always faithful to Christ Jesus,

Sempre fiéis a Cristo Jesus.

Who unto death, for us, went on,

Que até à morte, por nós prosseguiu,

And set us free by dying on the cross!

E libertou-nos, morrendo na cruz!

To live for You, O blessed Lamb,

Por Ti viver, ó bendito Cordeiro,

Who would not desire it, knowing You?

Quem não deseja – se Te conhecer?

Who, calling himself a true Christian,

Quem, que se diga cristão verdadeiro,

Would not be ready to suffer for You?

Pronto não ‘steja, por Ti a sofrer?

But, Savior, how very weak we are,

Mas, Salvador, quão fraquinhos nós somos,

How can we keep ourselves from falling,

Como podemos deixar de cair,

If we are not kept by You Yourself?

Se por Ti mesmo guardados não formos?

Who can follow You even unto death?

Quem, té à morte, Te pode seguir?

Always faithful, yes, even unto death!

Sempre fiéis, sim, mesmo até à morte!

Always faithful, let us take up the cross!

Sempre fiéis – Tomemos a cruz!

This is the motto that belongs to us,

Eis a divisa que a nós nos pertence,

To those set free by Christ Jesus!
