Gave His blood to save you!

Yes, upon the cross, in my place,

Sim, sobre a cruz, em meu lugar,

Jesus died to save me!

Jesus morreu p’ra me salvar!

Safe and secure in Him I am,

Salvo e seguro nEle estou,

For by His blood He set me free.

Pois com Seu sangue me livrou.

Oh! How lost and far I wandered,

Oh! quão perdido e longe andei,

Far from God and from His law!

Longe de Deus e Sua lei!

With tender and patient love,

Com terno e paciente amor

The Savior always followed me!

Seguiu-me sempre, o Salvador!

Blessed was the day when at last,

Bendito dia, quando, enfim,

I saw Christ upon the cross for me!

Vi Cristo sobre a cruz, por mim!

Overcome by His great love,

Vencido pelo Seu amor,

I surrendered to the Savior.

Rendi-me logo ao Salvador.

Come, troubled soul, and find your rest;

Vem, alma aflita, descansar;

Behold, Christ is ready to forgive!

Eis Cristo pronto a perdoar!

Trust in Him with all your heart,

Confia nEle, de coração,

And yours shall be His great pardon.
