Holy Bible,
You are the Word of God;
You are the map of the journey
For those who travel to heaven.
You are the letter sent,
Which the watchman holds in his hand;
You are the sails of the little boat
Of those who carry salvation.
Book of love,
Book that gives us joy
In the Savior,
In the Spirit, and in knowledge.
Blessed Book!
Only in you dwells
The Word of love
That came from the lips of the Lord
To speak through you.
Holy Bible,
You are the radiant Book;
You are the jewel rejected
By the reviler.
You are the Book for the journey,
Against the horror of corruption.
You are the Book that commands us
To proclaim this salvation.
Beyond the veil,
You are, Book of the Lord,
Book of heaven,
That transforms the sinner.
Holy Book!
Blessed are those
Who sing the praise
That you record with love
For our salvation.
Holy Bible,
You are the light of my Brazil;
You are the spear and the sword
Of this valiant people.
You are the jewel upon the fingers,
You are the lovely flower of the garden;
You are the brightest light
That shows us the Savior.
You come from God,
Holy Book of Jesus.
From the highest heavens
You revealed the Cross to us.
Book that speaks
Of the Savior's power,
Book that revealed to us
How God loved us,
You are the voice of the Redeemer.
