Tempted, do not yield, for yielding is sin;

Tentado, não cedas, ceder é pecar,

Far better and nobler is victory to win;

Melhor e mais nobre, será triunfar,

Take courage, believer, let evil not reign;

Coragem, ó crente, domina o teu mal.

God is able to keep you from sorrow and pain.

Deus pode livrar-te de queda fatal.

In Jesus you carry

Em Jesus tens a palma

The palm of victory;

Da vitória, minh’alma;

And your soul finds comfort

E também doce calma

Through the blood of the cross!

Pelo sangue da cruz!

Shun every sin, seek always to please

Evita o pecado, procura agradar

The God whom your body should honor with ease;

A Deus, a quem deves no corpo exaltar;

Let not impure words come forth from your voice;

Não manches teus lábios com impura voz;

Guard well your soul from the vilest of vice.

Defende tua alma do vicio atroz.

Be gentle and humble, though counted as dead;

Sê manso e benigno, qual morto até.

On the Eternal Rock let your faith be steadfast;

Na rocha eterna, firma tua fé;

Is your confession true? Are you wholly God's own?

Veraz é teu dito: de Deus é teu ser?

The crown waits before you, the victory is won.

T'espera a coroa, tu podes vencer.
