I have a gentle Savior
Whom I did not know before;
Now I gladly come,
Telling everyone that I have seen Him.

Jesus, glorious and gracious,
Yes, everyone, everyone will see.
Of all, He is the most beautiful,
The image of the glory of God;
He made me joyful and blessed,
And an heir of heaven's glory.
If the wicked set traps for me
Along the path I must walk,
Jesus will give me a good sword,
And I shall cut every snare.
You gave me life and love,
Because You loved me;
At last You made
The glory of heaven
