It is written of the Holy Spirit
That you are the temple,
Yes, the temple of God;
Have you received,
After you believed,
The glorious gift sent down from heaven?
Let the Spirit of God
Come in to dwell;
The promised gift,
Already given,
The blessed gift from heaven above.
The One who saves you
Also cleanses you,
To remove every stain from your soul;
Purified from sinful stains,
The Holy Spirit
Can now enter.
O pilgrims, behold your destination,
Enter the land of milk and honey;
Sanctified,
Called by God,
You will be led
By a faithful Guide.
