There is work ready for you,
O Christian,
Work that demands
All your devotion.
Come, gladly obey Christ,
For only you,
O believer,
Can do it!
Working for Jesus,
Promptly, faithfully, working!
What joy it is
To serve Him!
And only you,
O believer,
Can do it.
For every believer,
The Master prepared
A specific work
When He redeemed him.
The work to which
Jesus calls you here,
How will it be done
If not by you?
It may be humble,
But if it is for God,
It is seen
From the highest heavens.
And your labor
Will not be in vain
If it has
Christ's full approval.
How many are lost
Without salvation!
How many need
Comfort!
Show them
How much Christ loves them,
For only you,
O believer,
Can do it!
