Blessed are those indeed

Bem-aventurados são

Who are pure in heart,

Os de limpo coração,

Who do not seek the riches of this world;

Que não buscam as riquezas para si;

The peace and quietness

A tranqüilidade e paz,

Which they now enjoy,

Que desfrutam, oh, jamais,

Can never fully be described by me!

Poderão discriminadas ser por mim!

Oh, let us sing, Hallelujah!

Oh, Cantemos aleluia!

Joyfully, with mighty praise!

Jubilosos, com poder!

Full of gladness and of zeal,

Bem Alegres, com fervor,

Let us honor Christ our King,

Demos a Jesus louvor,

And receive from Him still greater joy!

E mais gozo vamos dEle receber!

Great the blessing and the grace

Grande dita e mui, favor

My dear Lord has given me,

Me concede meu Senhor,

Through the blood He shed for me upon the cross;

Pelo sangue que por mim verteu na cruz;

He will fill my soul as well

Tornará também meu ser,

With true joy and perfect peace,

Cheio de veraz prazer,

If I walk forever in His light!

Se viver e caminhar na Sua Luz!

To obey my blessed Lord,

Ao Senhor obedecer,

To be filled with Him alone,

DEle mesmo me encher,

This for me is heaven here below;

Para mim isto é o verdadeiro céu;

And because of His great love

E por Seu imenso amor,

For the poor and sinful soul,

Para o pobre pecador,

I will praise Him here and there above!

Quero aqui, louvá-Lo, e além do véu!

Perfect is the peace I know!

Quão perfeita, é minha paz!

Nothing more do I desire;

Não anelo nada mais,

I would always do His holy will;

Quero sempre aqui fazer o Seu querer;

I possess my Savior dear,

Tenho o amado Salvador,

And His everlasting love;

E possuo Seu amor;

Endless joy shall be my portion still!

Gozarei eternamente mui prazer!
