No sin enters heaven,
Nor weariness,
Nor sorrow,
Nor pain.
There is no
Broken heart there,
For all
Are filled with love.
The clouds
Of earthly life
Can never dim
The glory
Of the heavenly kingdom
Of joy,
Which God
Has prepared for me.
I shall go
To that beautiful city;
Jesus will give me
A place there.
With believers
Of every age,
I will forever
Praise God.
I deeply long
For heaven,
For the glory
I shall see there.
Oh, what joy
Will be mine
When I see my Lord,
Surrounded
By great splendor!
I will not have
To pay
For the home
I shall have there;
And my eternal garment
In heaven
Will never wear out.
Never again
Will I live
In poverty
In my holy home.
There is
Abundant treasure there,
Which I shall enjoy.
In heaven
Mourning is gone;
There will be
No funerals.
No graves
Will ever be raised,
For there
I will find
No dead.
The aged
Will be transformed;
We all
Will be changed.
Like stars
Scattered by God,
We shall shine
Forever in heaven.
